Droughns In Line For More Carries?

The New York Giants backfield got more muddled last night. With Brandon Jacobs injuring his ankle & receiving a stinger & Derrick Ward having trouble getting on track with his ankle injury, Reuben Droughns stepped in and rushed for 90 yards on 14 carries, including one rushing TD. So what do we make out of all of this? It's really too hard to say. Droughns only had 11 carries prior to this game, so he may revert back to his old role, or he may have played himself into more carries. Droughns had 14 carries, Jacobs had 13 & Ward had 8, so maybe they'll use a rotating system. No one really knows at this point, but due to the value of runningbacks, it might be wise to add Droughns if you own Jacobs and/or Ward.
